Who Should Purchase Tony Horton’s 10 Minute Trainer?

I have a difficult time recommending the 10 minute trainer to anyone as I always feel that no matter who you are, you have an hour in your day you could work out; its just not always convenient.
The workouts you’ll get are:

  • Total Body
  • Lower Body
  • Yoga Flex
  • Cardio
  • Abs

You’ll also receive a workout calendar, resistance band kit, cardio belt (for attaching the band), workout cards, and 10 minute meal recipes.

The moves in Ton’y Horton’s 10 Minute Trainer are not exactly for beginners, so I can’t recommend it to people starting out.  I more recommend it to people that are A) travelling B) using in certain situations or C) people going through stressful life changes (aka moving, 80 hour work weeks, etc).

These workouts are straight forward and you know what you are getting into when you start them.  There is not much time wasted like in other programs like P90x or Power 90 (not that the resting time is a bad thing)… just saying these are an efficient use of your time.  Its much easier to shell through a workout when its going by the DVD than it is on your own or you’ll probably sneak in breaks acting like you dont know what to do next.

The workouts are convenient for travel or for people that do not own a home gym.  Maybe you have to drive 15-20 minutes to get to your gym but you dont have that much time to get there, workout, and get home.  Well, the 10 minute trainer is a good choice for you as a replacement work out.

I would not recommend using Tony Horton’s 10 minute trainer as a workout replacement, but I do recommend using it as a supplemental workout to a defined workout routine.  Like all Beachbody / branded products, expect to pay a premium and expect advertising for their website and products.
