Pure Protein Bar by Worldwide Sports Product Description

The Pure Protein Bar from Worldwide Sports is a high quality bar that could pass as both a meal replacement bar, snack, pre or post workout bar.  At about 300 calories per bar (depending on the flavor), it could be considered a light meal or a good snack (depending on your body composition).

The thing to realize with protein bars, is that it really depends on what your goals are for what you should eat.  Some are high carb, medium-low protein and are more of an energy bar.  Some are high protein, fat, and carb and used as a meal replacement.  Some are high protein, low carb and strictly a protein bar.  And others are gimmick bars that are no better than candy bars.

Who Should Purchase Pure Protein Bar by Worldwide Sports Nutrition?

I like the Pure Protein Bar because it can meet the needs of such a large group of people.  The fact that it sits right in the middle of the high calorie content snack and low calorie content meal replacement categories means you can really use it for either.  The best part about it is that you get a high quality bar.

The only thing I don’t like about it is that it is not 100% natural as they do use artifical flavors, but that isn’t enough to turn me away from these bars.  I’m willing to put the artifical flavors past me as there are not many protein bars out there that will provide this much protein, taste decent, and keep carb and sugar content fairly low.  The problem I have is that they used artificial flavoring and the bars still aren’t the best tasting thing in the world, although they taste good enough.

A lot of protein bars on the market are gimmicks; they are actually candy bars with a few grams of protein that they market as a “protein bar” and unfortunately, they taste good.  People don’t look enough into it and fall for these marketing schemes; they might as well be eating a snickers.  You don’t have to worry about this with the Pure Protein Bar although you’ll pay the average premium for a quality protein bar at about $2.00 per bar.

I recommend the Pure Protein Bar by Worldwide Sports to anyone looking for an additional protein snack for their meal plan or someone looking to cut back calories with a meal replacement bar.

  1. I have been put on a low-carb diet by my gynecologist baucese I am insulin resistant and have reactive hypoglycemia. I have purchased several cookbooks (including Atkins) and have found the dishes to be too fancy for my family’s tastes (especially my 9-year-old stepdaughter). BACK TO PROTEIN provides quick, easy and TASTY recipes which the whole family can enjoy. I appreciate the short ingredient lists and the fact that the ingredients can be easily found in my local grocery store. We especially enjoy the ground beef and chicken recipes (mock pizzas and mock lasagna are terrific!) I also love the crock pot recipes for easy end-of-the-day meals!!I can’t wait until Mrs. Doyen writes another cookbook. I’d love to have some more crock pot recipes for chicken and roast beef! Thank you for a terrific cookbook which has made it much easier to follow a low-carb diet. I feel great and it is so easy to stick with my diet when given such a wide variety of meal choices.
